The facility’s money is spent on storing and securing the data because cybersecurity is a major issue in healthcare programs handling patient care information. Hospitals nationwide have progressively stored data in the MyChart program, which is free. The hospitals also use MyChart for messaging services in the program. The program has become a significant source of income from video and message e-visits, reimbursed by public insurance (Raman et al., 2021). The telehealth revenues from the program are projected to rise by 90% in the next financial year.
Who is your target population?
The program’s target population is all patients and their family members in inpatient and outpatient departments and healthcare providers.
